Benjamin Shelley, Founder & CEO
Benjamin Shelley is a seasoned real estate professional with a decade of expertise in property management, investment, development, and brokerage. Shelley has founded multiple RE investment and management companies, all still operating, with over $50+ million in deals under his belt.
In 2022, Shelley founded LocalSTR, a real estate management and investment company with a focus on operating and converting residential homes and buildings into short term rentals. LocalSTR currently owns and manages properties in New Jersey, Maryland, Texas, and New York State.
A born and raised New Yorker, Shelley is driven by a love for building, renovating, and furnishing homes to create idyllic living environments for both short term guests and long-term tenants. He has lived and breathed Real Estate construction and worked in every part of the business. The hospitality and residential aspects combine his love for creating and restoring homes, with his love of working with people from all walks of life.
Shelley graduated with academic honors from the Schack Institute of Real Estate at New York University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate.
