The localSTR Story

In 2019 Ben and Ana started with a single property in Atlantic City. After falling in love with the local charm and local people in and around Atlantic County, they decided to plant their roots and begin to offer their rental services beyond just their own properties. In 2022, they founded LocalSTR, bringing together their diverse backgrounds and shared passion for hospitality. Ana, born and raised in Puerto Rico, is an archaeologist pursuing a doctorate in classical archaeology. Her extensive travel experience and multilingual skills (Spanish, French, Italian, and German) contribute to their ability to connect with guests from around the world. Ben, a New York native with a deep love for real estate and construction, complements Ana's academic background with his practical expertise in building, renovating, and furnishing properties. Together, they aim to create perfect stays for their guests, combining cultural insights and attention to comfort and detail. Ben and Ana are all about local - local people, local teams, and local stories. These relationships are the localSTR story and what Short Term Renting is all about.
